LATHAM — A person driving a vehicle reported as stolen in Saratoga Springs allegedly led police on a high-speed chase on the Northway Saturday evening before crashing the car on a highway overpass in Latham, according to Saratoga Springs police.
The vehicle was reported stolen from an apartment complex on the west side of Saratoga Springs at around 6:30 p.m., according to Saratoga Springs Police Department spokesman Lt. Paul Veitch. City police, with assistance from Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office deputies and State Police troopers, found the vehicle and pursued the SUV south down the Northway, according to Veitch.
