ALBANY — Albany County Legislator Beroro Efekoro claims that most evenings, he parks his Tesla at the home he owns on Western Avenue and walks 15 minutes to a one-bedroom apartment he rents on the second floor of a residence on Park Avenue.
In the morning, Efekoro says, he walks back to his car and drives to his job at the state Department of Labor.
The multi-family property he owns on Western Avenue is not in his legislative district. The Park Avenue apartment, which Efekoro does not have a lease or pay rent for, is in the district.
