The new pharmacy offers services ranging from synchronized prescription refills and expert pharmacist counseling to pill packaging and free delivery. The business also has a specialized focus on confidential healthcare services for those affected by HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C, and sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
The store’s owners, Jagat Patel and Srini Velesetty, stated they aim to set themselves apart from large pharmacy chains by focusing on personalized care for “the whole person and the health of the community.” The pharmacy will host a grand opening event and ribbon cutting ceremony on September 12 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., which will include a tour of the facility, remarks by local officials, prize raffles, and a luncheon provided by Allie B’s Cozy Kitchen.
