COLONIE – Colonie police responded to the intersection of Curry and Morris Roads on Wednesday, Aug. 27 at 3:45 a.m. and found a car stationary in the intersection.
According to reports, a white Lexus sedan was parked in the middle of the road, and police made contact with the driver, a 54-year-old Colonie man. Officers observed him to have bloodshot and watery eyes and an odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from his breath.
The man was given and failed field sobriety tests and tested positive for breath alcohol on a pre-screening device. He was taken into custody…
