In April, State Police troopers received a report that an adult man was having inappropriate communications with a child under the age of 17 while the victim was in Saratoga County. A subsequent investigation found that Negrillo had been communicating with the child on social media, sending the child indecent material of himself and receiving indecent material of the child, police said.

The 30-year-old was arrested at his home on September 17 and charged with first-degree disseminating indecent material to minors, possessing a sexual performance by a child and endangering the welfare of a child. He was remanded to the Saratoga County Correctional Facility in lieu of $2,500 cash, $5,000 bond or $100,000 partially-secured bond.
