RAY BROOK — Police searching the Adirondack Mountains for Anthony “Tony” Bechand, a Cohoes man wanted for allegedly killing his girlfriend, believe he took off on foot after his truck ran out of gas in a remote town. And, they told reporters Thursday, he may have been suffering from an injury.
“There was indication from a search of the vehicle that Mr. Bechand likely had an injury to his left side,” State Police Troop B Acting Commander Peter Arcadi said. “The severity of this injury is unknown.”
