It started with a conversation eight years ago. Bethany Spencer learned one of her longtime yoga student’s son had two kidney transplants. It opened up her mind, and she volunteered several times over the years in attempts to become a donor.
When she recently told a colleague about her journey, Bethany was connected with Ed. He needed an O-positive donor; Bethany is O-positive.
