Coxsackie, NY (WRGB) — On September 29, 2025, a routine traffic stop on Route 9W in Coxsackie led to the arrest of two individuals on multiple charges. State Police Coxsackie troopers pulled over a 2013 Buick for traffic violations and discovered the driver, 25-year-old Kristina Neaton of Cohoes, NY, was operating the vehicle with a suspended license. Neaton was also found with a tightly rolled dollar bill containing cocaine residue.
According to the release, the passenger, 24-year-old Malchijah Steward of Ravena, NY, was found in possession of a loaded and defaced Ruger LCP .380 caliber semi-automatic pistol, a digital scale with cocaine residue, and a baggie containing an “unknown powdery substance.”
Neaton faces charges including criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th degree and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle 3rd degree. She was released on an appearance ticket and is due in Coxsackie Town Court on Oct. 20, 2025, at 3 PM…
