MECHANICVILLE, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A Mechanicville man wanted on felony charges was arrested on Monday, according to the Mechanicville Police Department. David Alpy, 32, has had a warrant out for his arrest since June.

On June 20, Alpy allegedly fled from Mechanicville police officers on an e-bike after they observed him violating an active order of protection. The 32-year-old had ridden the bike into the area of Tenendaho Lane and over an embankment toward the Anthony Kill, authorities said.
After being taken into custody without incident on Monday, police said, Alpy was charged with aggravated family offense, first-degree criminal contempt, obstructing governmental administration. He was also charged with second-degree bail jumping for a separate matter.
Alpy was arraigned in Mechanicville City Court. He is being held at the Saratoga County Correctional Facility in lieu of bail, pending further court action…
