WATERVLIET — A fire tore through two residential buildings Wednesday on Seventh Avenue.
Mayor Charles Patricelli said “two families” were able to escape the buildings and that no injuries had been reported. The mayor said initial calls came in around 12:45 p.m. and firefighters from Watervliet, Troy and the Watervliet Arsenal were at the scene.
The buildings were fully engulfed when firefighters arrived, but Patricelli said they had made progress and that the buildings were “in good shape” by 1:30 p.m…
