Albany man pleads guilty in Glens Falls teens’ deaths

FORT EDWARD — One of the three men who allegedly shot two teens on a rural road in Fort Ann pleaded guilty to two counts of murder on Friday in Washington County Court, District Attorney Tony Jordan said.

David Larose of Albany was facing two counts of murder, criminal possession of a weapon and attempted robbery in the deaths of Marcus Macaulay and Adam Darrah, both of Glens Falls. Larose also faced hindering prosecution and tampering with evidence charges in connection with the incident that took place on May 22 on Clay Hill Road in what court papers said was an attempted robbery of a gun.

The teens who died were found by drivers along the road at about 9 p.m.“It’s good that he owned up to what he did,” Jordan said. “It’s good for the families to acknowledge what happened. He went to steal a gun and two people were shot and killed. … This is what happens when you play with guns.”…
