Giant mural artist beautifying communities across New York

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (WNYT) — A local artist is leaving her mark on the Capital Region, one structure at a time.

Hannah Williams began painting murals a couple years ago. Since then, she’s completed more than 50. You’ll find these gigantic works of art in Glens Falls, Queensbury, Saratoga, and other upstate towns.

Williams’ latest project brought her to Schenectady. The city of Schenectady Metroplex, Amtrak, and Albany Barn Inc. contracted her to revitalize a large, 120-year-old wall near the Amtrak station along Erie Boulevard…
