The fourth Capital Region Fur Ball took place at the Rivers Casino & Resort Event Center, hosted by the Animal Protective Foundation (APF). The event’s theme was “Taking Care of Our Furry Friends.”
Joe Lisella, APF CEO, highlighted the organization’s efforts: “We do community pet wellness clinics for people who are struggling financially where we’re providing access to veterinary care that the animals wouldn’t otherwise have, as well as our sheltering and we’re also the region’s largest spay-neuter clinic trying to fight pet overpopulation as best we can and bringing all of these people together so that they can hear those stories firsthand and see what we’re doing and feel good about the organization they’re supporting.”…
