CANAAN — The driver of a motorcycle died Sunday after a car turned into the bike’s path, State Police said.
Troopers said a Porsche was headed south on state Route 22 when it failed to yield the right of way to a northbound Harley-Davidson motorcycle as it made a left turn. The vehicles collided at 2:50 p.m. and the driver of the motorcycle was thrown from the bike. He was flown to Albany Medical Center Hospital and later died.
The driver of the Porsche was also injured in the crash, police said. He was taken to Berkshire Medical Center Hospital in Pittsfield, Mass., for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, troopers said…
