Spa City man arrested for multiple DWI charges after early morning stop in Malta

MALTA, NY (WRGB) — A Spa City man was arrested over the weekend for multiple DWI charges, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office.

It happened on Friday at 2:09 a.m. on Interstate 87 in Malta, sheriff’s deputies stopped a vehicle that was unable to stay in its lane. The driver was identified as Jack Krotow, 21, of Saratoga Springs. He had a Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) of 0.14%.

Deputies arrested Krotiw for the following charges:

  • Aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, 1st degree (Class E felony)
  • DWI
  • Operating a motor vehicle with a BAC of 0.08% or greater (misdemeanors)
  • Moving from lane unsafely, driving on shoulders or slopes (infractions)

Krotow’s license had been revoked before due to a previous alcohol conviction…
