Discover Albany’s Community Engagement Director Maeve McEneny sat down with News10’s Valerie Wencis to discuss the variety of events on offer — from a costume parade for dogs with accompanying “Yappy Hour” for their owners, to ghost tours — for everyone looking to celebrate spooky season.

She also shared the history behind these events, which harkens back to 1904 and 1905 when the city “transformed into an enchanted dreamland” with a large Halloween carnival. You can learn more in the video above, as well as Albany’s All-Halloween Festival website.
