TROY — A former information technology worker for the Troy Housing Authority has been charged with public corruption and official misconduct after state authorities said he illegally managed his own IT business while working for the city.
Marsden Chen is accused of collecting $7,089 in wages from the housing authority while he was actually performing work for his own company, Diagnostic Services and Installations, according to a news release the state comptroller’s office issued Monday.
