ALBANY, N.Y. (WNYT) – A Cohoes man has pleaded guilty to criminally negligent homicide in connection with a deadly dog attack in Albany one year ago.
Omar Daniels owned the dogs that got out in the rear yard of 594 Central Ave. and killed 60-year-old James Provost on Oct. 9, 2024. Provost was mauled by as many as nine dogs.
A police officer fired his gun to stop the attack. One dog was killed, and the other dogs ran away…
