Over 500 warnings given for passing stopped school buses in Albany

ALBANY, N.Y. (WNYT) – A total of 549 warnings were given out to drivers who illegally passed stopped school buses in Albany, NewsChannel 13 has learned.

The district installed stop-arm technology on more than 100 school buses in the Albany City School District.

The 30-day warning period expired this past Monday, and now tickets are officially being handed out to drivers caught illegally passing a stopped school bus…
