South Glens Falls man arrested on rape charges

CORINTH, N.Y. (NEWS10) — New York State Police arrested a South Glens Falls man last week after a sex crime investigation in Saratoga County. Daquan Hayes, 22, was charged with two counts of third-degree rape.

Hayes is accused of engaging in sexual acts with a child younger than 17 in Corinth back in June. Troopers took him into custody in Fort Edward on October 16.

Hayes was arraigned in Corinth Town Court. He was then held at the Saratoga County Jail on a $20,000 cash bail, a $40,000 bond, or a $200,000 partially secured bond ahead of further proceedings.
