COLONIE — Traffic slowed on a section of Troy-Schenectady Road in Colonie Saturday as police and firefighters responded to a crash near the Interstate 87 offramp at Exit 6.
All lanes on a section of Route 2 and Route 7 were briefly closed shortly before 3:30 p.m., according to the state Department of Transportation’s 511NY traffic alert system. Traffic slowed to a crawl as law enforcement responded to reports of a crash and a vehicle fire. Most of the lanes appeared to reopen shortly afterward.
It’s unclear how many vehicles were involved and if anyone was injured in the crash…
