EAST GREENBUSH, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Its almost the most wonderful time of the year, and Rockefeller Center is mistletoe-tally getting prepared. This years Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree is coming from East Greenbush.

The Norway Spruce tree will be cut down on Thursday, November 6 and will make its way to Rockefeller Center on Saturday, November 8. The tree will be wrapped with the iconic multi-colored LED lights and crowned with a Swarovski star before being lit during the live “Christmas in Rockefeller Center” broadcast on December 3.
The iconic Christmas staple will be on display until mid-January before being mulled into lumber for Habitat for Humanity.
