COLONIE — A 59-year-old Troy man was killed Wednesday night after he was struck by a vehicle on Watervliet Shaker Road, town police said.
Gregory D. Browne was fatally injured in the crash around 7:59 p.m. near 622 Watervliet Shaker Road — a 40-mph stretch near a brewpub and a used car lot — according to a statement from Colonie police. Colonie EMS workers pronounced him dead at the scene.
Police said the driver was not impaired and is cooperating with the investigation. While the investigation is ongoing, no charges are expected to be filed, they said…
