Teen pleads to manslaughter, admitting to backing over 93-year-old in Cohoes

ALBANY — A 19-year-old arrested this past summer for running over a 93-year-old man with his car in Cohoes has pleaded guilty to manslaughter, prosecutors announced.

Kemaury Everett pleaded guilty to second-degree manslaughter on Thursday morning in Albany County Court, according to the Albany County District Attorney’s Office.

Everett was charged with second-degree manslaughter and leaving the scene of a fatal collision after police found Charles F. Allendorph dying near the intersection of Congress and Newark streets around 9:44 a.m. on Aug. 18.
