Albany police review board considers lawsuit against city

ALBANY — The city’s Community Police Review Board appears to be headed toward a third lawsuit against the city.

The group unanimously voted to file a notice of claim against the city on Monday during a special meeting. It is a first step that preserves the board’s right to file a lawsuit later. At issue is the board’s concerns about its independence.
