ALBANY, NY (WRGB)- Jacob Snide, the man accused of hitting and killing motorcyclist Patrick LaFortune Jr. in July, is set to appear in Albany County Court. Snide was released on bail this month after spending just over a week in jail.
Initially charged with second-degree manslaughter, second-degree assault, and reckless driving, Snide’s release has left LaFortune’s family frustrated and questioning the decision.
Amadia LaFortune Colon, Patrick’s sister, expressed her frustrations, saying, “I’m upset by the decision that was made. I’m upset with the lack of accountability. He shouldn’t have been awarded bail. There should’ve been no bail for him at all.”…
