ALBANY, N.Y. (WNYT) – An Albany man has been indicted for allegedly trying to burn down a family’s home as they slept inside.
Jason Wells, 42, is accused of pouring a liquid accelerant on the front steps of a residence on Second Street just before 6 a.m. on Sept. 18, according to the Albany County District Attorney’s Office. He then set the fire while a family of seven slept inside, investigators said.
