Police: Albany man linked to thefts at North Greenbush shopping plaza

NORTH GREENBUSH, N.Y. (WNYT) – An Albany man was arrested Tuesday for allegedly stealing over $2,500 in merchandise from a North Greenbush shopping plaza.

North Greenbush Police said Kleotis King, 40, was involved in nine separate retail thefts at Van Rensselaer Square between June and October 2025.

King was identified as the suspect with the help of the Capital Region Crime Analysis Center and other local law enforcement agencies. King also has more than 30 active arrest warrants throughout the Capital District primarily related to retail offenses, according to investigators…
