DA: Suspects in 17-year-old’s killing in Pittsfield lured victim to steal vapes

PITTSFIELD, MASS. (WNYT) – Police have made an arrest in the deadly shooting of a 17-year-old in Pittsfield, and the district attorney said he believes a second person will be charged next week.

Brodie Slonski was shot in the chest on Oct. 26 while sitting inside a car on Franco Terrace. He then crashed into a tree.

The Berkshire County District Attorney’s Office said Jaequan Spratling, 18, has been charged with murder and attempted armed robbery. Spratling is scheduled to be arraigned at 2 p.m. Friday in Central Berkshire District Court…
