Albany, NY (WRGB) — Several high school students from the Capital Region BOCES Career and Technical Education Center recently participated in a statewide leadership conference at The Desmond Hotel – Crown Plaza. The event, part of the SkillsUSA Fall Leadership conference, focused on developing leadership, communication, and professional skills, according to Debra Toy, SkillsUSA advisor on the Albany Campus.
Around 300 students from across New York attended the conference, which marked the culmination of various leadership training and development events held throughout the summer and fall. Students from the Schoharie Career and Technical Education Campus included:
