COLONIE — A Schenectady man has been charged with kidnapping after he allegedly held a woman against her will at a motel last month.
Colonie police were called to assist Schenectady police with a welfare check around 6 p.m. on Oct. 29 at the Motel 6 on Curry Road. Officers were called after a woman’s family expressed concern for her well-being after “they saw a concerning social media post and had not been able to contact her for several hours,” Colonie police said in a statement.
