TROY — A city man is facing assault and weapons charges after he allegedly stabbed another man Thursday night outside Bootlegger’s bar on Broadway.
Police were called around 11 p.m., and witnesses told them a patron had been thrown out of the establishment earlier in the evening. The man, a 55-year-old, quickly returned, police said.
They said a fight broke out near the entrance to the bar when the man returned. It culminated in him stabbing a 22-year-old man with a broken piece of glass. The alleged assailant attempted to flee but was stopped by “uninvolved individuals,” police said…
