Persons of interest identified in deadly Albany fire, police say

ALBANY —  Persons of interest have been identified in connection with the Twiller Street fire that killed five people in early October, the Albany Police Department announced on Friday.

City police are “actively pursuing credible leads from multiple sources” related to the Twiller Street fire on Oct. 6, which became a homicide investigation when it was ruled an arson in late October.

The department declined to share any additional details, such as how many persons of interest have been identified or if the suspects knew the five people who were killed…
