GUILDERLAND, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A car crash closed all eastbound lanes and one westbound lane on Western Avenue between Devonshire Drive and Winding Brook Drive in Guilderland on Sunday, according to 511NY. All lanes have since reopened.

The Guilderland Police Department told NEWS10 that, at around 9:50 a.m., a car had gone off the roadway and crashed into a telephone pole across from Prospect Hill Cemetery, knocking down wires. The driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries and issued vehicle and traffic law violation tickets.
