SCHOHARIE, N.Y. (WNYT) – State Police said a tractor-trailer driver failing to move over caused a crash that closed a section of I-88 for nine hours on Wednesday.
The crash happened just before noon in the town of Schoharie. Investigators said a truck driven by Eric W. Smith, 44, of Hartford, Connecticut, failed to move over and struck a tractor-trailer that had broken down in the right lane.
