CLIFTON PARK — State Police have identified the 71-year-old killed as he tried to leave his crashed car Sunday night on the Northway.
William Reichman, of Ballston Lake, was driving south around 8:11 p.m. on Interstate 87, just south of Exit 11, when he was rear-ended into a guardrail off the left shoulder before being struck by another vehicle that flipped his vehicle backward. When he got out, stepping into the left lane, he was hit by a tractor-trailer and fell into the road, State Police said.
