Albany native Bonnie Blanchfield seldom misses the Troy Turkey Trot, even though she hasn’t lived in the Capital Region since 1987.
She and her husband, Gregg Meyer, have made the the race a Thanksgiving near-annual tradition since they met in 1985 while playing co-ed soccer in Albany.
