Upstate New York Snow Totals: Up to 15 Inches Reported in Albany Forecast Area

Albany, NY – The National Weather Service in Albany released updated snowfall totals Saturday showing widespread lake-effect snow across eastern and upstate New York from Thursday evening through early Saturday morning.

According to the latest analysis, the heaviest snow fell in western portions of the forecast area, with reports of 10 to 15 inches near Utica, Gloversville, and western Herkimer County. Areas farther east and south, including Albany, Troy, and Pittsfield, MA, saw lighter totals ranging from 1 to 4 inches
