ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) is implementing new QR code-enabled stickers at bus shelters throughout its service area. The stickers will reportedly give riders a quick and direct way to report shelter-related concerns.

The white and blue stickers will be placed inside shelters. When scanned by a smartphone, the rider will be connected with a brief online form where they can report any issues and provide a photo.
The stickers will also reportedly highlight that use of bus shelters is for CDTA customers only. The public transportation company said the initiative comes as an effort to improve rider experience and boost the safety and cleanliness of its amenities.
