Police: Albany man threatened woman with gun, crashed into patrol car

ALBANY, N.Y. – A 21-year-old Albany man is accused of threatening a woman with a gun and crashing into a police car when trying to get away from officers.

Albany Police responded to a residence on Broad Street near Alexander Street around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday for a report of a person with a weapon. Police said Julian Washington threatened the woman with a gun before leaving the scene.

Officers saw Washington getting into a vehicle and trying to leave. Washington allegedly did not stop and went through a traffic light. He also crashed into a patrol car, police said…
