GUILDERLAND, N.Y. (WTEN) – Gengar, one of the original 151 Pokémon and a fan-favorite, became part of GameStop history on Monday.
In a statement issued by GameStop this week, the company confirmed that it had paid out $30,494.70 to a customer who traded in a mint-condition Holo Gengar trading card at a store in Grapevine, Texas.
“This event now constitutes the most valuable single trade-in ever recorded in GameStop history,” the company announced.
