The man repeatedly called local businesses, threatening to harm the public and law enforcement
DELMAR — A 35-year-old Greenville man, who was charged in May for threatening police at a local hotel in May, was taken into custody on Monday, Nov. 24 after repeatedly calling Bethlehem dispatchers and speaking incoherently. He was also wanted for not showing up to court for that case after being released under the supervision of probation with electronic monitoring.
On May 12, officers from the Bethlehem Police Department, Albany County Sheriff’s Office, and the New York State Police took Joshua Case into custody after a series of threats made the night before, according to police.
Case, who was residing at the Quality Inn on 15 Frontage Rd in Glenmont, made several phone calls to the Stewarts Shop on 33 Frontage Rd, making threats of harm to the public and law enforcement. He also made calls to the Bethlehem Police Department that were described as irrational…
