Cohoes man picked up by Cohoes police for outstanding warrant

DELMAR – Cohoes police picked up Lewis Thomas, 73, of Cohoes on an outstanding warrant for a larceny at Price Chopper on New Scotland Road in December 2019.

According to reports, Thomas was banned from that store earlier that year and was caught allegedly stealing $108.39 worth of goods on December 12. He was charged with petit larceny and trespass and released with an appearance ticket.

He did not appear and on February 14, 2022, Bethlehem Town Judge Andrew Kirby signed a bench warrant. Cohoes police encountered Thomas on Monday, Nov. 24 and found to have the warrant. He was transported to Bethlehem and was arraigned by Judge Erin Lynch…
