ALBANY — Two people were injured after a fire broke out Friday night on Garfield Place and displaced 18 people, fire officials say.
Albany Fire Chief Joseph Gregory said officials responded to a fire at approximately 8:18 p.m. on Friday that originated at 17 Garfield Place and extended to three neighboring buildings. Gregory said there was “significant damage” to 17 Garfield Place, “fire and water damage” to 15 and 19 Garfield Place and “impingement” on 13 Garfield Place.
