Slidin’ Dirty reopens today in Hedley building in Troy

TROY — The restaurant Slidin’ Dirty reopens Monday at 433 River St., taking over the first floor of Hedley Park Place, which previously was River Street Market.

Hours are 11 a.m. to midnight Sunday to Thursday, until 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday. The menu will at first be limited to sandwiches, sides and the brand’s eponymous sliders, with plans to expand fare in the future, including for weekend brunch, owner Tim Taney said in his reopening announcement.

The 11,000-square-foot space serves as a combination restaurant and music venue and features two bars — one where the former tenant The Fox and the Burn was located, the other for special events. The restaurant side of the business has seating for about 125, with the music venue able to hold approximately 400, Taney said, although he has yet to receive a final capacity from the city. The first ticketed live performances are not expected to be held until the end of January or early February, according to Taney.
