NORTH GREENBUSH, N.Y. (NEWS10) — North Greenbush Police reported on Monday that an arrest was made last week after a longstanding larceny investigation. Rallah Rollins, of Albany, faces multiple felony charges.

Detectives determined that Rollins allegedly deposited a fake check at the Community Resource Federal Credit Union in North Greenbush on August 20. The fraudulent deposit reportedly resulted in the theft of $7,413.
Rollins was identified as a suspect during the ensuing investigation, leading to him being taken into custody by New York State Police on an active arrest warrant on December 9. He was turned over to North Greenbush Police and was charged with first-degree forgery and third-degree grand larceny.

The Albany man was released under Rensselaer County Probation’s supervision following his arraignment. He’s slated to return to North Greenbush Town Court at a later date.
