ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A puppy that stole the hearts of people around the Capital Region passed away on Monday. Hudson the Railroad Puppy was 13 years old.

Hudson and his two siblings were rescued in 2012 from the train tracks at North Pearl Street in the city of Albany. They were just a few weeks old and stranded for up to two days. All of them suffered severe injuries.
Only two of the puppies survived: Hudson and his sister Pearl. Both were adopted by loving families. Pearl died last year.
Hudson’s family posted on social media about his passing and said they have seen an outpouring of support from the community…
