Hudson, the puppy found tied to Albany railroad tracks, has died at 13

A puppy found abandoned and abused on railroad tracks over a decade ago has passed away, leaving behind a legacy of inspiration in the Capital Region.

Hudson, known as “Hudson the Railroad Puppy,” was three weeks old when he and two other puppies were found injured on railroad tracks in Albany in 2012. NewsChannel 13 reported that officials believed someone nailed two of the puppies to the tracks and cut off Hudson’s paw.

Hudson was adopted by the Nash family in December 2012. He was put down yesterday at age 13 after battling bladder cancer, but he was surrounded by love throughout his life…
