Operation Santa’s Sled is supporting a law enforcement family whose 8-year-old is recovering from multiple strokes.
The group organized a brunch with Santa for the Shatraw family. Their son, Aimon, has a rare brain vascular disorder causing strokes. After his latest stroke in November, Aimon spent a month at Boston Children’s Hospital. He is now home to continue his rehabilitation and regain strength.
“The stress of Christmas is bad enough on any given year for a family, let alone to have some significant medical event such as this,” said a representative. “So this really goes a long way at easing their anxiety and making life a little bit easier for them in these trying times.”…
