CAPITAL REGION, NY (WRGB) — The third annual “Jewish Day of Service” is happening on Christmas Day in the Capital Region.
The Jewish Federation of Northeastern New York (JFNENY) partners with local non-profit organizations that are open on Christmas Day and are in need of volunteers.
More than 50 members of the Capital Region Jewish community are volunteering at 10 different sites and events, including: Schenectady City Mission, Ronald McDonald House in Albany, Albany Medical Center Health System, the Bernard & Millie Duker Children’s Hospital at Albany Med, Joseph’s House & Shelter in Troy, and Albany Stratton Veterans Affairs Medical Center…
